Biography:
Salem Tedder will earn her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Health Systems Management and Biology in December of 2022. She is concurrently pursuing her Master of Health Administration as an early entry student. During her undergraduate career, she worked as a Cancer researcher at the University. She served as an assistant researcher for Gaston County Health Department through a CDC-funded well project. She also worked as a Contract Analyst with a revenue cycle management company based in Charlotte. Salem decided to pursue her Master of Health Administration to build the valuable skills necessary to become an effective healthcare manager and obtain the competence in leading complex healthcare organizations. She believes she will be able to use these tools to become a highly proficient healthcare leader and to better meet the challenges of a rapidly changing healthcare system.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her dog George.
